These headphones I requested will make a HUGE difference in the students classroom and overall success.
The students are provided with sporadic desktop or school-provided iPad usage time; however, the students don't have headphones. I've sent home, on more than one occasion, notices and requests to have parents send headphones for their individual use. Many say that due to lack of funds, they can not do so.
Headphones would help the class succeed because they use the iStation software/app. That is how they are tested at the beginning, middle, and end of the year. They are also able to access it for extra practice in class. However, when they use it in class, they use them without headphones, each at full volume so that they can hear their own. But students are easily distracted and it's more noise in the classroom. If they each have their own, it would be promising success as they'd be focused on their own learning path.
