The Simple & Powered Machine Lego kits will serve as an extended STEM activity providing students with a deeper understanding of content while engaging in critical thinking and problem solving skills with their peers. Students will work in pairs with the kits to build their model portion of the project, then come together with another team to build the final project. The Lego kits will be utilized throughout each grade level. Classes will be scheduled for the Lego activities to be facilitated in our new STEM Center. By providing hands-on experiences with our students, we believe students will develop essential STEM skills to help them become more successful and career ready.
