My students will be able to learn about a variety of informational topics. I want my students to be engaged learners. Before I submitted this project to Donorschoose, I asked them what type of topics they would like to learn more about. I made sure to include everyone's suggestions as well as topics that relate to our units of study. It's important for kids to have choice when it comes to reading. Their world right now is full of choices between, television, videogames, youtube, etc....In order for their choice to be a BOOK, we must supply them with topics that peak their interest.

About my class
