There are many reasons this computer will be so helpful in my classroom. This computer will allow the students who need extra digital support (especially in any high school art or digital media class). In my classroom, I have limited space for students and there are times when certain students need to be in a separate area because they have difficulties learning in a group setting. This computer will allow the student to go to another location and complete undisrupted individual work.
This project can show hardworking students that people care about them and support their effort to graduate from high school. Many, if not all, of my students, receive little support in their educational endeavors. They are drop-out or pushed out students who have overcome many hurdles in their educational history. Our team works with each and every student to achieve academic success. We are located in a low-income area of Chicago and work with what we have.
