My math department is already running low on supplies for this academic school year. I go through expo markers since I cannot really use my document camera due to the poor lighting in my classroom. Students will be able to write their student work on the board to learn from each other's mistakes and to take notes when learning a new concept. The students would gain depth of knowledge by analyzing a mistake on the board and explaining how to make it correct. They also work out the DO NOW problems during the first 10 minutes of class with calculations.
