In the Special Education setting where students struggle with academics it is so important to create hands-on experiences. These garden materials will allow us to bring the classroom outdoors. Gloves and knee pads will assist the students who don't like to get dirty. Multiple shovels will allow everyone to have a chance to contribute and get involved with the garden.
Growing vegetables from seeds will give the students a great learning experience to see how our food is produced. Students will be able to learn and explore plant life cycles from their personal plants. Caring for a garden will give students opportunities to learn about healthy eating and lifestyle choices. Hands-on learning will create life-long lessons.
