The flexible seating chairs I am requesting for my class will allow my students to practice independence, responsibility and basic reading skills.
In Kindergarten, we are fostering a love to read by teaching students that you can read anywhere you want! They love to pick up a book and use their imagination to tell the story they see in the illustrations. The students are currently sitting in metal chairs at big tables but love using clipboards on mini rugs to lay on the floor.
With the flex comfy chairs, I will be able to give them more options of seating that will be more suitable for their little bodies. We are just beginning our journey in education as Kindergarten students. We need to learn about ourselves and how we learn best. Flexible seating gives us the options we need to explore our preferences.
