The new laptops will have the storage needed for the new VEX C# program that makes our robots operate in both autonomous and driver modes. We need up to date computers that will facilitate our students computer programs. We have 4 VEX teams and 1 FTC team currently sharing two laptops to program 5 robots. This problem has caused the the teams sometimes forget which program is for their robot. In the excitement of competition, they have downloaded the wrong program in error. With the new lap tops each team will be able to program and have ample time to test their programs without needed to wait for other teams to complete their programs. With the additional computers, we will be able to teach more team members programming basics as not to rely on one per team. Many more students will have the opportunity to program.
