The green-screen and lighting kit I am requesting will be used for students' productions of multi-media projects that will highlight and put them into the world of video production by using chroma-key technology in which a performance is super-imposed over a chosen digital image to simulate actually being in a location. Students will be researching and writing scripts that will be projected using a teleprompter for professional quality "news" reports on events in history. Students will not only learn about history, but also, how to produce videos in the form of news magazines, interviews and current events. These skills will help them be competitive in today's media and technology driven world.
