Support Mr. Renzi's classroom with a gift that fosters learning.
My students need an iPad to connect with the world in new ways and build literacy, social studies, and technology skills. They are always learning new things and in new ways. Not all of our learning is done on paper and pencil.
My students deserve the very best educational tools to help them succeed.
This iPad will be a tool to help their learning in many ways. Our classroom has limited access to iPads and an additional one in the classroom would give more students a chance to practice during centers (Reading and Social Studies). We will be able to use them to document our classroom lessons, projects, presentations, and experiences through video recording, photography, and voice recording.
The children are very familiar with technology and are very careful and responsible with the schools current shared technology. The iPad will help my struggling readers have access to audio books, which in turn will increase their reading and listening comprehension. The iPad will also take us on virtual field trips to far away places that we study in social studies. It will also provide a love of learning in a way that doesn't require only paper and pencil.
