With the silhouette machine and necessary items to pair with it, my young adults (who are ones with intellectual disabilities) of all levels can create projects for fundraising to support activities to participate in the community. Whether it be creating a project on the computer to "weeding" the vinyl to prepare it to be transferred to the wood or fabric. We will also use it to label their work shirts for when they are in the community working on their vocational skills. These materials will make them feel like they are part of the working community, labeling shirts, and other items.
