Our students come from a variety of backgrounds, and they will benefit greatly from the frequent use of technology, particularly because their academic and linguistic backgrounds cover a wide range. What they all have in common is their desire and enjoyment of content presented in a variety of ways, especially using technology.
With a chromebook charging station, more of our students will have access the chromebooks we already have, (in the past we could not use efficiently due to not having the means to charge all of them safely). We had a charging station, but it was very old and there was an electrical damage that made it useless and impossible to repair.
Headphones will help our students to focus when going to on math programs such as Imagine Math and IReady, and help ESL students with languages translation. We currently work in a very noisy environment, which does not help our special needs students.
Lastly, the stools will help our small group instruction table to allow all students to sit comfortably, because we currently have no seats.
