My students are bright, engaging and amazing. My students are still feeling the impact of the 2016 flooding in south Louisiana. Many students lost their homes, belongings, and their books. These books will help expand my library, enhance the writing instruction, and provide novels for my students to read. I am requesting a variety of genres to appeal to all the students. Additionally, I am requesting scanning equipment to ensure that I am able to account for all of the books in my classroom library. The books I have requested are an array of levels; that way, every student will have the ability to partake in reading them. The books will appeal to students who like to read sci-fi, fantasy, sports, non-fiction and fiction novels.
