I teach three 5th grade ELA classes daily. Two classes I have for 90 minutes, and one class I have for 46 minutes daily. These kids want to learn, but these blocks of time are LONG with a lot of information. In our ELA class we cover grammar, spelling, reading, writing, and vocabulary. A lot of information, not a lot of time!
I want to use Flocabulary in my classroom as an engagement tool to introduce and reinforce ELA concepts. The videos, quizzes, and lessons are relevant and PERFECT for my fifth graders and their thirst to learn.
In conjunction with the year subscription to Flocabulary, I will use the easel pad to reinforce the same things they learn in the videos and display in the classroom.
