High school students that are exposed to Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses have the opportunity to explore fields of interest while still in a high school classroom. This Robotics course extends an exposure in the vast Engineering field into the growing field of Robotics with small groups designing, building, programming and trouble-shooting robots.
Practical experience with robotics requires the use of tools and equipment commonly available to designers. Our school has many students interested in engineering fields but lacks the resources to offer valid learning experiences. Adding this course and the essential tools and equipment will offer those students the opportunity to have practical experiences that have the potential to influence life-long career choices.
