The students will use these items to find preferred seating around the class during independent work time, core time, and collaborative work as needed. With the many options available, students will be able to find a seat that redirects their energy to help them focus on the task at hand. We are currently using two bean bags and a few wobble seats. These limited options only allow 20 minutes a day for student use due to limited resources and a larger number of students.
By having more seating options available, my students will be able to have more opportunities to be fully engaged in their learning with peers and staff.
