My students come from families that live in poverty and do not have access to on-level books for their reading enjoyment. If funded, my students will be allowed to check-out books on a daily basis to take home and read with their families. Students will also be able to read the books that they have checked-out in class during reading circle time each morning.
We keep on-going reading logs in class and students that meet their reading goals receive prizes and incentives. Thank you in advance for your donations and support. My bookworms are eager to receive some new books!
