The UNICEF Kid power band teach students the importance of being active while allowing them to earn points. These points earn food packets for malnourished children throughout the world. The band track all movements by the students. After 2400, movements they earn their first point. For every 10 points, they earn a Ready-To-Use-Therapeutic-Food Packet. These packets are sent to malnourished children to help save their lives.
Global citizens help make the world better. My students will be learning about the world and how other children live in areas such as Africa and Central America. This will allow them to appreciate where they live and the food they have access to. They will also learn how they can make a difference in places other than just where they live.
