Having these tools will increase student independence so drastically! Having items that they will see and use at home in the classroom will help students generalize their skills to multiple locations.
Cooking brings us together, inside and outside of the classroom! My students love to cook for each other and their teachers. Having these supplies will make a difference and allow students to make recipes that they love!
Students will use these items to create new recipes and practice using our classroom oven. We plan on using the items like the baking sheets, measuring spoons, cutting boards, etc to make holiday cookies! Learning these skills will increase their independence and give them a boost of confidence as they make food for friends and family.
