From March to June the students of Broward County Florida all learned Virtually. During this time, myself and other teachers had to find out what worked best for our students. During this time, I recorded lessons, played with whiteboard apps, Zoomed, Microsoft teamed, Youtubed. ANYTHING to reach my students and help them out. To teach math, I used my cellphone, and many cans of food to display the problems I was working on, and how we might solve it. I repeated myself way more than I did in the physical classroom. And often times found myself sitting in my driveway for the ideal lighting, (Not the best place when you live in sunny South Florida). I chose three items to assist me in teaching my students better. I want it to be easier to meet with them and discuss the problems they are having in math. I want to display how we might do at home science experiments, I need to show them how to underline important details in informative text and how to efficiently take notes, and finally I need to hear them and for them to be able to hear me without any issues.
