My class is in dire need of a television and a new set of calculators. Currently, I am unable to project images or videos of any sort, so the class suffers through the drones of my personality. Having the ability to show powerpoint presentation and access videos on the internet will really help drive my classroom engagement. Alternating my lessons and activities is the desired effect. In addition, we only have simple four operation calculators. These calculators lack other functions that are necessary in algebra. For example, the students are struggling with negative numbers and the current calculators display negatives in a very confusing way.
