The calculators that I am hoping to gather for my classroom will be used in a variety of ways. I teach mostly physical science. That means that there is significant amount of data and calculating that takes place throughout the school year. My students do not come to school with pencils, let alone calculators. Calculators will allow students to interact with the physical science material and complete lab activities collaboratively. I have also asked for a hanging storage item for the calculators so that students can access them easily and in an organized way. Middle school can be messy so planning and organizing saves time!
