Our classroom music projector will help my students connect with world music, as well as meet district and state music standards, increasing perspective of the ideas discussed and performed. Highlights will include world, national, state and school songs, composers and their music, like Scott Joplin, Charlie Chaplin, in addition to European classics, introductions to the orchestra, all coming alive in short video presentations, as a portion of our music class. Presentations like these will help connect students with their ever-changing, faster-moving, knowledge-increasing world. In widening perspective, students will begin to foster greater ideas for what they can have, do, and become.
