To create an environment where all students can learn is achieved by providing structured options for seating around the classroom. Our class moves from the rug to desks during different subject areas in the school day, and students can benefit from choosing a seating arrangement that can let them get their wiggles out and promote movement. The seating options listed below are specifically designed to provide engagement during instruction.
The variety of sensory materials will ensure students can take small breaks intermittently throughout the day to refocus and reset. Social and emotional learning is the process through which children and adults acquire and effectively apply the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions. By donating to our class, you are helping students to socially, emotionally, and academically succeed each and every day in our room!
