Students will be able to use the Guided Reading Collection to get differentiated support with literature books. With these books used in small group instruction, students will receive specific instruction on content that fits their learning needs. Providing these resources with my kids will allow them to understand the text in addition to applying the reading strategy or skill we are learning. Since, the books are literature, I also added the TIME for Kids. This will allow students to use the same strategies and skill with non-fiction texts in addition to learning about current events. These resources will allow my kids to learn their reading strategies and skills in both literature and informational texts.
