My students need a document camera and printer to provide, understand, and do their work. My students need composition notebooks, glue, and scissors to create an individual interactive study notebook for math and science each. The document camera is for my students to see how to take notes and put their notes in their Interactive Notebooks, called an INB.
To make the content of math become more meaningful to my students, each student will create an INB with real-world connections to math standards. These questions will be meaningful examples that can happen in my students personal lives. The real-world connection question will be glued to the left page of the notebook. The right side of the notebook will have examples and notes from INB lessons I have purchased and printed in color with the requested color laser printer. The students can use the requested scissors and glue to place them neatly into the right side of their INBs. Students will be able to glam up their notebooks with the requested markers and colored pencils.
