This project will help us purchase a shredder and communication devices so that our students can be successful in their jobs. We will buy an iTalk 2, which is a communication device that enables the students to push a button to choose between 2 options of what to say. In addition, we will purchase a TalkTrac communication device, which can be worn on a student's wrist, making it easier to communicate while actively participating in recycling and shredding. Many of us take our ability to talk for granted. Some of our students are not as fortunate as we are. Without these devices, the students have no way to communicate with the people around them and it can be very frustrating for them. Thank you for helping us to buy much-needed equipment to help our students be successful in school and in the community.

About my class
