Our school's Samsung Solve For Tomorrow project is growing greens in our classroom to improve the nutrition of everyone in our school while incorporating a variety of technology in the process.
We will be coding micro:bits and Raspberry Pis to monitor growing conditions and progress. Micro:bit technology will monitor temperature and humidity in our classroom (our building is over a century old) and Raspberry Pi cameras will take time lapse photography of the growing process and measure student pulses. Pulse oximeters will also help us gather health data. We have been granted most of the technology but need a few pieces.
