We began this semester with the an iPad for filming and a MacBook for editing our news program. It's time to upgrade our video production. We need microphones, lighting and a backdrop to create a better finished product each week.
I began this school year with the goal of working with students to create a weekly news program for our school that would spotlight the programs and events that are happening within our building and that would also give our students a voice and an opportunity to shine. My students have brought unbelievable enthusiasm to our broadcast. It is a wonderful experience for the students who create the program as well as the students who watch it each week.
