With the length of time students have been out of school the drive to increase reading skills is at an all-time high. During the year we have handed out book order forms and I have overheard the students mention the books in my project.
Most students in my classroom are unable to purchase these books to keep for themselves because they are low income. I have had the opportunity to lend out some books of these titles to students and have seen the excitement on their faces to see the books in their book bags. I want to make this love and excitement last all year and having these books would help me do that.
