Having a printer and ink will ensure that each student receives individual copies of texts, vocabulary cards, and math resources.
Students that receive special education services will have work modified and printed when working digitally presents a challenge. Many times having a hard copy that they can highlight and write on eliminates frustrations.
Being able to print in the class allows us as teachers to differentiate work by printing multiple levels of the same assignment, print resources when a student is struggling, among many other uses.
Time is so valuable! By not having to leave the classroom to print, we are saving on time where we can be planning and prepping.
