Our school has seen a need. We have multiple students on Individualized Education Plans and not enough exciting material to work with them with at their own developmental level.
Our school is starting a BRAND NEW Early Childhood Special Education program completely from scratch! We are building it all completely from the ground up and we need some help.
The Lakeshore Story Telling Kits will help bring the stories to life, as the students are able to see and touch the characters in the story. This will also help them to retell the story using their own words and the pictures to guide them.
The Feel & Find Sensory Tubs will be perfect for helping with our literacy and math skills! Many of my students are still working on identifying letters and numbers 0-10. With these tubs, we can make identifying these numbers and letters fun by digging through some sensory material to get there! They will be able to explore their senses and learn valuable material all at once.
I'm asking for the Literature-Based Learning Centers to match our Dr. Seuss classroom theme. These learning centers are based upon Dr. Seuss books, but allow for students to explore math and language skills as well.
