My students need motivation to write. They need something to get them excited about writing and publishing their work. I know that exposure through technology to apps and programs will help them get motivated about their writing. This will lead them to publish their work digitally...and an Apple MacBook in the classroom would be just the thing to get them going! Another benefit to having access to a laptop in the classroom is research.
This way the students can have access to researching their topics online right in their own classroom. This will benefit them tremendously. Not only will they become better writers but it will also improve their writing scores on their state writing exams.
