My students are in a urban area with very low income. They have a burning desire to learn and better themselves but do not have the materials and resources to get better. Many do not have access to books at home that are at their level and do not have the means to access the public library due to lack of transportation.
My students struggle with writing. They never see how it will benefit them later in life. The love to read and they are very driven to read expository text. I love my students and they deserve a great chance of becoming well rounded, educated adults. I strive everyday to teach them everything I can. Donating to these students will be changing lives for years to come.
