I have been teaching for 22 years. I have had to use the same textbook for the same 22 years. Many of the books are falling apart. Plus, they are no longer relevant. With Chromebooks, I am able to get free, up-to-date textbooks in digital form. Plus, my students - who are amazing and deserve better- will be able to conduct research, compose projects, review for tests and quizzes, and apply for colleges and jobs. This will the be the ultimate gift that keeps on giving. I know my students will be successful in state core testing, literacy, and overall reading comprehension if they receive Chromebooks.
