My students need books to read. We need books from a variety of genres and a wide range of reading levels in order to improve our literacy and foster their enjoyment of reading. Books can transport us to different worlds and allow us to see things from different perspectives. We know that the more that we read the better readers we will become. We also know that nothing makes reading easier or more exciting than high interest books that all students love. Please make our wish of having a wide range of exciting books in our own classroom a reality.
