I have a classroom of students that need more engaging books to draw them into reading more books. I am hoping to fill my library with exciting books that will draw students into reading more. Among the books, I have also included Greek and Egyptian mythology books such as the Hercules graphic novels and the Egyptian mythology book because as a class we study world history for social studies curriculum this year. I have found that students that read more, do better in fluency, comprehension, and use of vocabulary. I wish to help increase reading skills so that students become better prepared for middle school and education further on.

About my class
