Cooking is often a skill that is often overlooked as a gateway to a person's well being. Learning to cook may also inspire a student to become interested in a culinary or hospitality field as a potential career. Having the proper tools to explore this option is a must! The toasters, glass casserole dishes and silverware asked for in this project will help to provide tools necessary for my students to start learning about basic cooking skills and that could translate to a lifelong skill that will benefit, not only themselves, but their families as well, by affording them the opportunity to cook simple meals and enjoy them. My students will be very excited to have the skills to take home and share with their families.
