In this digital age having access to computers is not something all of our children have.I chose the Lenovo Laptops for my project because they are sturdy and versatile enough to meet the needs of our classroom. I use technology throughout our day to assist with Reading, writing, math fluency and coding. There are so many wonderful free resources that help students learn that are only available digitally.
Incorporating technology helps us become a 21st century classroom. We currently use Xtramath.org to assist us with addition, subtraction, multiplication and division fluency. Fluency is the cornerstone to being proficient math students. Weekly we use Readworks and NoRedInk for reading and grammar work. Having more technology would give students more time to use these wonderful programs in class.
