After taking the LETRS training and learning more about the Science of Reading I would like to provide my students with sound boxes and chips, pop its, magnetic letters, white board markers and erasers to help with phonics instructions. We need book boxes to store grade level texts.
Research has shown that the more hands on students are with manipulating and understand letter name and sound correspondence the better they will be at decoding and reading with fluency and accuracy.
I would love to add the selected resources to my first grade classroom. My entire class would benefit from the reading supplies and materials.
