These books will be added to our school library and will become available to ANY student in the school. Students can borrow the books so that their families could read to them in their native language. During independent reading at school, our Brazilian and Portuguese students can have access to books in their own language.
Help encourage and develop literacy skills in Portuguese. Show them their language and culture is important! Allow them to see themselves and their cultures become represented in their own school. Some students are on their chrome books during independent reading because they don't have book accessible in their language. YOU can help change this. Thank you!
