It is my intention to use the wobble chairs I have requested for small group instruction as well as to help students stay focused and engaged during whole group instruction. The bean bag chairs will be used in my reading corner to foster a love of reading simply for enjoyment. Offering my students these flexible seating options will allow them to experiment with, and discover what works best for them as a learner. Kindergarten is a place where children experience so many "firsts". Flexible seating is one way in which I can offer them a choice, while encouraging ownership of their newest learning experiences.
