We will use this rug for calming activities, partner work, reading aloud, and for the students to play games on. The colorful rows will create a learning environment that is vibrant and welcoming. Having this space is important to young students and allows them to learn the importance of personal space. They will learn how participate in group discussions and appropriately interact with peers. The students will also be provided the opportunity to use this space for necessary calming activities when they need a break or are having a tough day. This rug will give students a comfortable place to learn the joy of reading or a space to go if they just need a break.
