Working in an urban school district it can often be difficult to have flexible seating options for our students unless teachers bring it in. As a result, students are often left sitting in hard uncomfortable desks that cause much discomfort and allowing it difficult to focus for extended amounts of time.
How can we expect our students to learn in an environment that they are not comfortable in? If we want our students to be successful then we need to first provide alternative methods of seating spaces for students to learn in. My choice of high top and wobble seating allows movement and flexible seating for my wide range of students.
