This project will allow me the opportunity to introduce my students who a wealth of classic stories and books. I teach in a predominantly Spanish speaking community to children with speech and language delays. Having access to books such as "Tili y El Muro" and "Nadarin" will allow me to help teach vital communication skills to my students. I'll be working on sequencing stories, retelling using key words (first, then, last, etc.), and comprehension.
The Apple iPad mini 4 tablet will help me access materials for both my nonverbal and verbal students. The tablet will give me access to technology while co-teaching. I can use hands-on tools while create a multi-modal environment for my students.
