This generous donation of these ukuleles will give these students the agency to finally be able to make music during school time with real instruments. The Ukuleles will be used during both the class periods and during the instrumental clubs that have been established and are in severe need of supplies.
Learning to play on these instruments will teach students dedication, responsibility, collaboration, citizenship, and about different cultures and peoples through the repertoire chosen. Music is such an innate way of communicating self and these Ukuleles will be able to help light up these students' day while learning important life lessons each class (not to mention having a lot of fun!). With these instruments, we can help make a difference that lasts a lifetime.
