The seating materials (wobble seat, standing table, and cushions) that I have chosen will help start our push towards revamping our technology classroom to make it more conducive to our elementary needs. For this age group, students should not be expected to come into a computer lab with rows of desktop computers and learn individually. At this age, students need to be working in groups, be hands on, and have the flexibility to do so. These materials will allow students to choose where they feel most comfortable working and allowing them the flexibility to move to get creative!
With flexible seating, students can work together to become great thinkers, creators, and learners.
