With this easel my student will have the ability to explore concepts with the whole class. The permanently-lined white board will give me the opportunity to model writing for my students. This easel is mobile and will allow me to hang chart paper and pocket charts. It will provide my classroom with a higher level of organization. I want to build a classroom that is abundant in conversation, collaboration, and community. From morning messages that greet my students to songs, shared reading, and math talks. This easel will provide each student the opportunity to truly engage in new content. With this higher level of engagement my students will hit higher levels of thinking. My student will be able to collaborate by sharing their ideas, discover new information, and add on or ask question of their classmates.
