The project I have before my students is the opportunity to take EVA Foam and create interesting looks of armor and other costume pieces. This project will allow students a hands on opportunity to bring their own designs to life with materials besides sewing machines and fabric, showing that costume construction can be from many different mediums. The supplies I've chosen will help students who are physical learners apply their understanding and produce something creative. The heat gun and other materials I've selected will allow us to build costumes that look like armor, by heating, cutting, shaping, sealing and painting.
