All students deserve the chance to communicate effectively and clearly. I am wanting to increase the overall communication skills of my students to make them successful outside of the therapy room. We will be able to play each board or card game while reinforcing good articulation or language skills. I am wanting to use these games to help with turn-taking, social skills, and generalization. Many of my students are able to be successful with their communication goals in very structured activities; however, they struggle with unstructured carryover. Being able to utilize games during therapy sessions will help with the generalization or carryover of their skills.
